Yael Levy & Nikos Kokolakis
Composers-Performers Duo
Yael Levy and Nikos Kokolakis, based in Crete since 2021, are composers creating and performing new multimedia works aiming for an organic combination of music composition - live instruments and electronics, field recording, visual art and performance art. They are interested in site-specific projects using the space as a big part of their compositions.
They collaborate with international ensembles and solo musicians and perform in major venues and festivals across Europe including Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht, Holland Festival in Amsterdam, Dag in de Branding Festival in The Hague, Manifesta 12 Collateral Events in Palermo, INTERFACES EUC residency in Nicosia and more.
They are the founders of Catchpenny Ensemble based in The Hague since 2015.
